Biographical Information

Isabel Marvin is the author of four children's books and hundreds of short stories
and articles. She lived on the Iron Range in Minnesota for sixteen years and
immersed herself in its cultures and mores.

Young Anna tries to find a bride for her father who has been lonely in the time
following the death of Anna's mother. Anna finds unexpected conflict when her
father does indeed find a new wife.
