The Floating Time Bomb. New York: Vantage Press, 2007.
Published originally in Finnish, this English edition recounts a series of small
events that went unattended and eventually led to a disaster that cost seven
people their lives. It also examines the current situation in the Gulf of Finland
where shipments of crude oil and bulk chemicals pass through narrow shipping
lanes in increasingly larger numbers each year.
