Josef Karl Aukee
Finnish North American Literature Association
Josef Karl Aukee was born in Ann Arbor in 1961. His grandparents came from Finland and
settled in Ironwood, Michigan. Josef grew up in Wayne, Michigan, and was educated at
San Francisco State University and Belmont University.
He is a performance poet and routinely performs his poetic works throughout the San
Francisco Bay area.
